Kitty Yawning

FOSTER VOLUNTEERS:

FOSTER PARENTS:   Provide a temporary home to rescued cats while they find their forever homes. The more fosters we have, the more lives we can save! Foster parents can be under the age of 18 but must be supervised by their guardians. A weekly report will be submitted.

  • Full Time Fosters  take in a cat or kitten from our intake queue or from another foster and provide temporary housing until they are adopted and placed in their forever home. This can be as short as one week or take several weeks.
  • Kitten Fosters  are responsible for caring for the youngest arrivals until they are adopted. A Kitten Foster typically fosters a litter of kittens that are not yet fully vaccinated. They require a little more care and attention so kitten fosters should have a somewhat flexible schedule.

Your Commitment:

  • Provide a safe environment,
  • Give daily care & unconditional love
  • Attend adoption events
  • Assist with the adoption process by providing up-to-date information and photos of your pet.
  • Participate in screening potential adopters and marketing your cat for adoption.

We Provide:

  • Routine and emergency medical care at one of our partner vets (at no cost to you)
  • Essential supplies
  • Marketing of your cat by posting him or her on multiple websites
  • Access to adoption events every weekend, a great way to find loving homes for your fosters
  • Support and training by our network of volunteers who are here to help and do anything we can to make fostering a great experience!

Fostering is the most hands-on volunteer opportunity available in rescue! The number of cats we can save depends on the number of fosters we have helping us.
