Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process. 

From his rescuer: 

~~We found him in a McDonald’s parking lot on the way to Tallahassee one Saturday morning about 4:30 AM on October 11th.  We couldn’t take him with us that day because we were on our way to an event so I fed him and promised him I would be back on Sunday morning to pick him up.  So the next morning I got up at 3:00 AM and drove back the 98 miles one way to that McDonalds and set a trap and waited for him. I caught him and brought him back home.  He needed vet care and was quarantined for 2 weeks until we brought out to be part of our cat family.

Chico LOVES to play.  Everything is a toy to him including the other cats.  He wants attention all of the time and loves his toys.  If you have a minute to play with him he’ll take it.  He purrs the minute you sit down on the floor with him and grab a toy.

Or he will amuse himself with toys if you put them out.  He is a good eater.  He likes tuna, 9-Lives packets and Fancy Feast Appetizers.  His dry kibble is Purina Kitten Chow and he LOVES Whiskas milk.  He also liked people chicken and steak.

He loves to cuddle in a blanket and purrs and snuggles if you pick him up and put him in bed with you.  He plays “chase me” he doesn’t quite understand yet that when you come into a room you aren’t coming to get him. I think this is fall-out from living in the McDonalds parking lot. But once it clicks in he comes running back
