Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process. 

Hi, my name is Sugar, and I’m as gentle and sweet as my name suggests.  I’m a shy girl at first, and when I’m somewhere new I may choose a quiet hiding spot while I take everything in. I just like to feel safe before I show my true self. Please be patient with me—I promise it’s worth it.

Once I’m comfortable, my sweetness really shines. I love head rubs, and I’ll happily bump and butt your hand with my head to ask for more. Those little moments of trust and affection mean everything to me, and they’re how I show my love.

I was adopted from Candy’s Cats as a kitten and grew up in a home with my sister, Spice. We were recently returned at the age of 12 through no fault of our own, due to a family member’s allergies. It was confusing and a little scary, but I still believe in finding my forever home—the one where I can finally stay.
