Domestic Short Hair (short coat) : : Male (neutered)
Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.
Well, my life started out a little rough under the ticket booth at a local high school’s football stadium. I was so hungry, I walked write out to my foster mom who has had me ever since. My name is Spike because my family likes to tell me that I am species confused as I think I am a dog. I don’t know what they are talking about as I clearly AM a dog, after all. I am the first one in the food bowl and my special weakness is dog food. Actually, my best friend is a dog. I get along well with other cats (there are 4 others in my home), dogs (there are 2, one of which is my best friend) and kids (there are 2 of those as well). I am litter box trained, loved to have my belly scratched and sound like I am the size of a tiger when I purr. My favorite place to sleep is on your lap or in your bed and I LOVE toys. My foster mom has done her best to raise me up right to go with any family (I’m not even afraid of the vacuum!). I look forward to meeting you and helping you understand that I am so special I should get wet food every day (my current mom thinks it should just be an occasional treat.) please contact Sheri on her email: Sheri.Robb@ocps.net or her cell 321-945-9201
