Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.
Hello there, I'm Spicey. I was adopted as a kitten by my former cat guardian, who sadly passed away. That’s how I found my way back to Candy’s Cats and into my foster home—but not because of anything I did. My name doesn’t tell the full story. I’m actually a sweet and playful companion—and quite the conversationalist! If you ever need a friend to listen to your stories or share a quiet moment, I’ll be right there beside you. Most days, you’ll find me perched on the cat tree next to my foster’s desk, keeping an eye out for those nosy neighborhood birds. Sometimes, I stretch out beside her laptop, just so she never feels lonely while she works. I’m pretty easygoing and don’t ask for much, but I do love playtime—especially when there’s a dangling toy involved. Chase it, swat it, pounce—it’s all part of my daily routine! When it’s time to eat, I’m always on the scene. I’ll happily keep you company in the kitchen, chatting with you while you cook and making sure you never miss a snack break. If you’re looking for someone to swap stories with while you’re making dinner, I’m your cat! I take a day to warm up in new places, and I prefer a calm home environment. But once I feel at ease, I’m ready to share all my sweetness, loyalty, and endless conversation with you. Would you consider being my forever home?
