CHESTER HAS ARRIVED!

Ready for the fall season? So is Chester! He’s all dressed up in his orange and white fall attire!  Chester seeks a household with someone who wants a cat buddy with a great personality and handsome good looks. Even though cats like companionship, he should especially appeal to both cat and dog people because he always wants to be with you. As you can see, he’s the complete package!

We have no idea about Chester’s past, but he was obviously someone’s pet at one time. He was found at a school trying to gain entry. (Wise cat!) Multiple lost pet ads were posted online, but no one came forward to claim him. Chester was thin when found, he wasn’t neutered, and he didn’t have a microchip.

Chester feels very secure inside and will curl up and go to sleep so he can be near you. He loves to “make biscuits” with his paws to show you how content he is. He is truly a nice, gentle cat.

Chester would be fine being adopted as a single cat, but Chester would also prefer for you to be home more often than you’re gone. He craves companionship and wants to make up for all that lost time when he wasn’t getting any head rubs.

Special Note from Foster Mom: Chester would fit in well with a single, a couple, or a family. He just wants “his person.“

Chester has not interacted with his foster mom's  cats because he hasn’t received all of his veterinary care at this time. He has seen them and has not shown any adverse reaction. Chester has been able to be with a 30-pound female dog and he was absolutely fine. He showed no fear and was actually more interested in eating. If your dog is cat-friendly, this could be a bonus!

Remember, you have the option of taking Chester home as a Foster-to-Adopt to make sure both of you are a match for each other.

It’s time to find this nice, deserving cat his forever home! He’s definitely one of the good guys.

Our kittens and cats are not adopted on a first come, first serve basis. We make an effort to match the perfect person or family with each cat/kitten. If there are two names together, those are bonded cats and we will not separate them. All of our  kittens  must have a kitten, cat and/or dog companion,  unless otherwise noted.  In some cases, our adults may need to have a companion but read the description as it will be listed there. Please read down to the bottom of this kitty's page to find out more details about its personality.

We've gone digital! Please complete our adoption application in advance at www.candyscats.org/forms Screening Form. You will need to register on our site. We'll review your information and get back in touch with you.  Every one of our kitties are fully-vetted (age-appropriate vaccines, spayed, tested for feline leukemia and feline aids, and they are microchipped.) They live in private foster homes with their foster families. Our adoption fees are $75 - $125. Thank you once more for your interest in our wonderful cats; we hope we can find one that is the perfect fit for you and your home.
