Chessie (SAK) 9.13.07 needs a caretaker or foster! Won't you consider helping her get a new start? Because of the difficulty getting appointments to get our rescue cats altered in a timely manner, we recently launched our pre-spay/neuter adoption program. The cat you are interested in may be part of this program and will have at least it’s first FVRCP vaccine, a microchip registered to us and will have been treated for internal and external parasites. Please fill out our screening form and after reviewing and confirming your information, our adoption counselor will reach out to you to explain the process.
Chessie was adopted since 2009 and is now being returned because the family acquired a kitten in 2014 and Chessie has not adjusted. Chessie MUST be an only cat. She plays well with children and is very affectionate but this kitten, who is now a cat upsets Chessie and causes her to act out. When you have completed the information requested, our volunteer will reach out to you. We do not adopt on a first-come, first serve basis but rather we adopt our cats to their new families according to the best fit for the cat.
