UPDATE: Due to unfortunate circumstances this sweet girl has been surrendered back to us after being adopted in 2018. We were told that she is sweet and friendly lady and will come to you and sit on your lap but does not like to be picked up.

Camille is a young calico girl that’s had a rough start. She was found by herself, locked in an empty apartment that had been vacant for over a month. Because the tenant wasn’t supposed to have a pet, no one knew she’d been left behind. All that was found in the apartment was drug paraphernalia, and empty food bowl, and evidence that Camille had attempted to eat the carpet edges in desperation. She was skinny, missing most of her fur, and had scabs all over her head and neck, likely from a flea allergy as she was completely infested. Remarkably, this sweet girl remains affectionate, purring loudly and seeking pettings whenever her foster parents come into the room. She is quite vocal, telling you all about her day when you come in. Then, she plonks down next to you with her loud purr, just wanting to be close to a person. Camille is happy just to have someone around, probably because she was by herself for so long.
