Hi, my name is Spooky! I'm an 8-year old grey male (Russian Blue) and I'm looking for my forever home! I once had a home and was even micro chipped but I was abandoned by my owner. My foster mom found me living inside of a storm drain and took me to the vet. I was so scared living on the streets! A lot of my fur was gone due to fleas and mange, and I was malnourished. The vet gave me my shots and ran some tests and said that I do not have feline leukemia or FIV which made my foster mom do a little happy dance in the vet's office! My foster mom also fed me lots of food and treated my skin and got rid of all of the things that made me so itchy. I feel so much better now! She also gave me lots of cuddles and helped me learn to trust humans again. Months later I am now a healthy and happy boy!
I have been through a lot so I am a little slow to trust, but once I do trust you I will love you forever! I love to cuddle and sit in humans' laps, and head butts and kisses are my favorite way to show my love for you! My favorite things are my food and my soft round bed! I am calm and low key, and I do not like a lot of chaos and noise around me. Sometimes men scare me as well. My foster mom has other cats and I wasn't sure if I liked them at first but I've learned to just ignore them and we co-exist just fine.
I am so grateful that someone found me and has shown me that humans can be kind and loving! I can't wait to find my forever home! LAP KITTY
